Dorsal shield with 26–39 pairs of long to very long smooth setae. Pre-sternal area with 7–22 pairs of elongated pre-sternal platelets. Sternal shield fused to endopodal, exopodal and peritrematal shields, bearing three pairs of smooth setae. Metasternal shields with a pair of setae st4. Genital shield with one pair of setae st5. Ventrianal shield subtriangular and with 3–6 pairs of pre-anal seta. Peritrematal shields usually fused with exopodal, endopodal and/or sternal shield. Epistome trifurcate, with a median projection and one pair of lateral extensions Chelicera chelate-dentate or chelate-serrate, fixed digit with several teeth of variable sizes, movable digit with two large teeth, sometimes with several small teeth between them. Cheliceral seta smooth. Male similar to female, except with a holoventral shield bearing 10–11 pairs of setae (st1–5 and 5–6 pairs of pre-anal setae).
