Type depository: MSJC .

Note: The original description of this species refers to 39 pairs of setae on the dorsal shield. The accompanying illustration shows 28 pairs on the shield, 11 pairs in the soft opisthonotal integument, and two pairs in the opisthogastric integument. Ishikawa (1980a) refers to 30 pairs of setae on the dorsal shield, and the illustration there also shows 10 pairs in the soft integument.
