Genus Archaralites Legalov , gen.n. ( Fig. 3 ) Type species: Archaralites zherichini Legalov , sp.n.

Description. Body light. Elytra convex, with deep striae and wide intervals. Metathorax convex, punctate. Abdomen small and densely punctate. 1st and 2nd ventrites elongated. 3rd and 4th ventrites narrow. 5th ventrite elongated. Length of metathorax and abdomen: 3.6 mm.

Diagnosis. This new genus differs from Gyrbykana Zherikhin, 1993 by the dense punctate bottom, elongated 5th ventrite, convex metathorax and larger sizes of the body.

Etymology. The name is formed from the word “Archara”.
