Ensayara lozanoi Winfield & Ortiz, 2012: 328 , figs 1–5.

Type material. Holotype, adult male, 2.3 mm, CNCR 26525. Paratypes: adult males, 1.8 mm length, 1.7 mm length; juvenile male, 1.1 mm length, CNCR #26526. [Not examined].

Type locality. Blanquilla reef, Veracruz Coral Reef System National Park, south-western Gulf of Mexico (19°13'32.9"N, 96°05'53"W), 10 m depth.

Habitat. Associated with the sponge Ircinia felix ( CNPGG #0996) at 10 m depth.

Diagnosis. Head lateral cephalic lobe subacute. Maxilla 1 outer plate palp with 4 robust setae. Coxae 1 to 3 ventral margin with dense fringe of fine setae, or with sparse fine setae. Gnathopod 1 basis anterior margin smooth, not cuspidate. Pereopod 3 carpus posterior margin about as long as free proximal margin of propodus, posteroproximal margin slightly produced, carpus subtriangular; propodus palm extremely obtuse, margin convex. Pereopod 7 basis, posteroventral corner excavate (damaged). Epimeron 3 posteroventral corner subquadrate. Uropod 3 outer ramus 2 articulate; inner ramus subequal to article 1 of outer ramus. Telson slightly longer than broad, length 1.1 × breadth.

Distribution. Mexico: South-western Gulf of Mexico ( Winfield & Ortiz 2012).
