Type locality. Northern Isla Despard, Beagle Channel, Argentina (54°52'S, 68°10'W), 8–12 m depth.
Habitat. Inquilinous in the holdfasts of the giant kelp Macrocystis pyrifera .
Diagnosis. Head lateral cephalic lobe rounded. Coxae 1 to 3 ventral margin with sparse fine setae. Gnathopod 1 basis anterior margin smooth, not cuspidate. Pereopod 3 carpus posterior margin about as long as free proximal margin of propodus, posteroproximal margin slightly produced, subtriangular; propodus palm slightly obtuse, margin straight. Pereopod 7 basis, posteroventral corner oblique. Epimeron 3 posteroventral corner narrowly rounded. Uropod 3 outer ramus 2 articulate; inner ramus longer than article 1 of outer ramus. Telson longer than broad, length 1.2 × width.
Distribution. Argentina: Beagle Channel ( Alonso 2012).
