Genus Neodurium Fennah, 1956 View in CoL View at ENA
Neodurium Fennah, 1956: 513 View in CoL .
Type species: Neodurium postfasciatum Fennah, 1956
Generic diagnosis
Vertex with apical margin subrectangulately convex, sides of frons shallowly grooved between eye and frontoclypeal suture. Frons longer than broad in middle line, median carina strongly developed in basal 3/4, sublateral carinae obscure. Clypeus ecarinate, convex. Pronotum with small pit beyond each side of median carina. Mesonotum slightly depressed, with median carina obscure. Tegmina with claval suture absent, M simple. Hind wings deeply incised on apical margin into two lobes. anal lobe absent; veins simple. Pro- and mesofemora compressed. Post-tibiae with a lateral spine near base and two large distal spines.
Female genitalia
Ovipositor with third valvulae stout, strongly convex, with apical margins tumid, bounding lenticular cavity when apposed.
Male genitalia
Aedeagus shallowly U-shaped, ventrally with two blade-like spines in middle, crossed and directed towards base of aedeagus. Genital styles triangular ( Ran et al., 2005).
Distribution P. R. China: Hubei, Guizhou, Yunnan.
Key to species of Neodurium Fennah

- Aedeagus with processes near basal 1/3 of dorsal margin ( Figs.7 View FIGURES 1–9 , 16 View FIGURES 10–18 ; Ran et al., 2005: Figs.7 View FIGURES 1–9 , 15 View FIGURES 10–18 )..........2
2 The dorsal processes of aedeagus smaller, finger-like ( Fig.16 View FIGURES 10–18 , Ran et al., 2005: Fig.15 View FIGURES 10–18 )............................3
- The dorsal processes of aedeagus larger, fan-like ( Fig.7 View FIGURES 1–9 ; Ran et al., 2005: Fig.7 View FIGURES 1–9 ).......................................4
3 Aedeagus with only one dorsal process, forked at apex ( Ran et al., 2005: Fig.15 View FIGURES 10–18 ); spinal formula of hind leg 8-19-2 ........................................................................................................ N. digitiformum Ran & Liang View in CoL

4 Frons with submedian carina attaining lateral margins ( Fig.2 View FIGURES 1–9 ); in dorsal view, the lobes of anal segment with lateroapical margin sharp ( Figs.5, 6 View FIGURES 1–9 ); ventral hooks of aedeagus narrowing and tapering suddenly near apex ( Figs.7, 8 View FIGURES 1–9 ); spinal formula of hind leg 8-13-2 ................ N. weiningensis Zhang & Chen View in CoL sp. nov.
- Frons with submedian carina not attaining lateral margins, but enclosing an elongate-oval area ( Ran et al., 2005: Fig.2 View FIGURES 1–9 ); in dorsal view, the lobes of anal segment with apical margin obtuse ( Ran et al., 2005: Fig.5 View FIGURES 1–9 ); ventral hooks of aedeagus tapering apically ( Ran et al., 2005: Figs.7, 8 View FIGURES 1–9 ); spinal formula of hind leg 8-18-2 ................................................................................................................................
