Remarks

Zoosphaerium platylabum   was previously known only from a few specimens collected near Andasibe ( Wesener & Wägele 2008; Wesener et al. 2010b). Now, the species has been found at several additional montane rainforest sites north of Andasibe, all at elevation levels of 780–1100 m ( Fig. 13B View Fig ).
