Female: (n=6) Body worm-like, 216 long; prodorsal shield 30 long, 44 wide, anterior lobe present; prodorsal shield with several short lines at lateral and posterior sides, design with median and admedian lines complete, subparallel, with transverse lines at basal 1/6 and half, submedian lines forked at anterior 1/3, directed to anterior; scapular tubercles set at prodorsal shield rear margin, setae (sc) 46 long, directed backward, sct-sct 25 apart; leg segments normal, foretibial seta (1') set at basal one-third, 6 long; coxal area with dash lines, 1st coxal seta (1b) 9 long, 1bt-1bt 11 apart, 2nd coxal seta (1a) 13 long, 1at-1at 10 apart, 3rd coxal seta (2a) 37 long, 2at-2at 24 apart; solenidion ending as knob; empodium simple, 6-rayed.

Opisthosoma: with about 86 microtuberculate rings; first 3 rings 5 long; lateral setae (c2) 22 long, c2t-c 2t 45 apart, c 2t \d t 54, c2t-dt 35; 1st ventral setae (d) 52 long, dt-dt 40 apart, dt\et 35, dt-et 40; 2nd ventral setae (e) 12 long, et-et 21 apart, et\ft 64, et-ft 60; 3rd ventral setae (f) 30 long, ft-ft 25 apart; setae h1 present.

Coverflap: 21 wide, 14 long, with about 15 longitudinal lines, genital setae (3a) 14 long, 3at-3at 19 apart.

Male: not seen.

Specimens examined: 6 females, Jensi, Nantou; 3-Nov.-2000, H. F. Yen; ex. Mikania cordata (Burm. f.) B. L. Rob., ( Asteraceae ).

Relation to host: Mites form pouch galls on both leaf surfaces.

Distribution: Indonesia, Guyana, mainland China, Taiwan (new record).
