Distribution

This species was previously reported from the Indian Ocean and Mediterranean Sea ( Cyprus) (Çinar 2005). The present study extends its distributional range to the northern part of the Levantine Sea. This species is considered to be a Lessepsian migrant (Çinar 2005).
