Semaphore Rockfish. To 39 cm ( 15.4 in) TL ( Snytko 1986). Central Oregon ( 44°41’N, 124°48’W) ( Snytko 1986), but without documentation; documented from Santa Barbara Channel (Mary Nishimoto, pers. comm. to M.L.) to Punta San Pablo ( 27°13’N, 114°30’W), central Baja California ( Lea and Fitch 1979). Benthic; depth: 88–659 m ( 287–2,162 ft) (NWFSC-FRAM).
