Isla de Cedros ( Ramírez-Valdez et al. 2015), and on mainland, Rocas Chester, central Baja California (M.L., unpubl. data) to upper Gulf of California (Schneider and Krupp in Fischer et al. 1995) to Peru ( Robertson and Allen 2015) , including Islas Galápagos ( Grove and Lavenberg 1997).
