Purplegray Sculpin. To 48 cm (18.9 in) TL ( Tokranov and Orlov 2012). Pacific and Okhotsk coasts of Hokkaido, Japan (Nakabo in Nakabo 2002) to eastern Bering Sea, Alaska (Mecklenburg et al. 2002), to at least 62°39’N, 172°24’W (Personal communication: University of Washington, Burke Museum of Natural History and Culture Fish Collection, Seattle, Washington). Benthic; depth: 15–595 m (49–1,952 ft) (min.: Sheiko and Federov 2000; max.: Tokranov and Orlov 2012).
