Striped Kelpfish. To 23.5 cm ( 9.3 in) TL ( Miller and Lea 1972). Vancouver Island , British Columbia to Punta Rompiente, southern Baja California ( Miller and Lea 1972). Benthic; depth: intertidal to 18 m ( 59 ft) (min.: Eschmeyer and Herald 1983; max.: Personal communication: Los Angeles County Museum of Natural History Fish Collection, Los Angeles , California).
