Bairdiella, Romeo Croaker , or Ronco Croaker. To 30 cm ( 11.8 in) TL ( Allen and Robertson 1994). Laguna San Ignacio, southern Baja California ( Danemann and De La Cruz-Agüero 1993) to Guatamala ( Robertson and Allen 2015), including Gulf of California (Chao in Fischer et al. 1995). Inshore, including estuaries ( Allen and Robertson 1994); depth: to at least 22 m ( 72 ft) (Personal communication: Scripps Institution of Oceanography Fish Collection, La Jolla, California).
