Green Wrasse, Island Wrasse, or Sunset Wrasse. To 32 cm (12.6 in) TL (Gomon in Fischer et al. 1995). Rocas Alijos, southern Baja California ( Gotshall 1998); Bahía Magdalena, southern Baja California ( De La Cruz-Agüero et al. 1994) into northern Gulf of California (Gomon in Fischer et al. 1995) to northern Peru ( Robertson and Allen 2015), Islas Galápagos ( Grove and Lavenberg 1997), and many other offshore islands ( Robertson and Allen 2002).
