Barred Serrano. To 18 cm (7.1 in) TL (Heemstra in Fischer et al. 1995). Isla de Cedros, central Baja California ( Ramírez-Valdez et al. 2015) to Islas Lobos de Afuera, Peru ( Chirichigno and Vélez 1998), including Gulf of California (Heemstra in Fischer et al. 1995), and such offshore islands as Islas Galápagos ( Grove and Lavenberg 1997).
