No spinules, or ( parmatus ) a tiny black spinule at ventral base of fore basitarsus. Small species, with poorly bristled legs. Wing with a short, but very broad stigma. Eyes touching each other on face, or ( parmatus ) narrowly separated. Third antennal segment short. Surstyli separated; ventral surstylus narrowing downwards, bearing a median or subapical bristle; dorsal surstylus broader, bearing a row of three long bristles.
Known distribution. Papua New Guinea ( pusio ), Thailand ( eurystigma , parmatus ).
Species included. Teuchophorus pusio Meuffels and Grootaert, 1986 ; Teuchophorus eurystigma sp. nov.; Teuchophorus parmatus sp. nov.
