Description. Body length. 2.6–2.65 mm.

Coloration ( Fig. 1 View FIGURES 1 – 12 ). Crown whitish with transverse orange basal band. Anteclypeus brown. Pronotum brown, with apical whitish stripe. Mesonotum pale, with dark lateral spots. Thoracic venter entirely dark. Forewing with large transcommissural saddle-shaped brown marking bordered with white, preapical area with small brown spot on outer margin of inner apical cell and additional linear brown apical markings extended to margin. Abdomen dark dorsally.

Abdomen. 2S apodemes ( Fig. 4 View FIGURES 1 – 12 ) as described for genus.

Male genitalia. Pygofer ( Fig. 5 View FIGURES 1 – 12 ) with basolateral and distal setae undifferentiated, without macrosetae; posterodorsal appendage arising from middle of posterior margin, hooklike, with two stout setae near midlength. Subgenital plate ( Fig. 6 View FIGURES 1 – 12 ) with four macrosetae and scattered fine setae. Style ( Fig. 7 View FIGURES 1 – 12 ) with two long and fine setae preapically; apex tapered.

Aedeagus ( Fig. 8 View FIGURES 1 – 12 ) with a pair of slender lateral processes arising near midlength and extended along shaft, not exceeding apex of shaft. Connective ( Fig. 9 View FIGURES 1 – 12 ) Y shaped, well sclerotized; with stem shorter than arms.

Female as described for genus.

Etymology. This species is named in honor of the first author's first daughter, Jazmín.

Material examined. Holotype male, ECUADOR: Orellana, Res. Etnica Waorani, Transect Ent. 1 km S Onkonegare Camp, 00°39'10"S, 076°26'00"W, 220 m, 5 October 1995, T. L.
