Diagnosis. Mandible strongly tapered towards distal end, with upper tooth longer and stouter than the lower tooth; clypeus moderately strongly ( Figs 36–38 View FIGURES 36–41 ); mesopleuron with continuous diagonal stripe ( Figs 36–37 View FIGURES 36–41 ); mesoscutum densely punctate with yellow marks only on in the anterior part of notaulus ( Fig. 39 View FIGURES 36–41 ); propodeum smooth and polished with complete and strong anterior and posterior transverse carinae ( Fig. 40 View FIGURES 36–41 ); hind coxa reddish without black markings; fore wing with vein 3 rs -m entirely absent or present ( Fig. 41 View FIGURES 36–41 ) ( Gauld 2000).

Examined material. 1♀. Colombia, Caquetá: Florencia, Vereda Paraíso, finca Paraíso , 01°44’47”N, 75°37’40”W, 716 m, 18.I.–01.II.2017, trampa Malaise en cultivo de caña ( Saccharum officinarum ), Y. Ramos-Pastrana (1♀, LEUA –53612) GoogleMaps .

New World geographical distribution. Belize (Chiquibul); Colombia (Caquetá *); Costa Rica (Guanacaste, San José) ( Yu et al. 2016) ( Fig. 42 View FIGURE 42 ).

Habitat. The specimen was collected with a Malaise type flight interception trap at ground level in sugarcane cultivation. The vegetation of the collection site corresponds to forests of the Andean-Amazonian foothills.
