Notes. Mandl (1989: 72) treated ssp. jakupicensis as a junior synonym of ssp. albanicus . However, he stated that apart from the typical specimens, some individuals from Jakupica and Pelister represented hybrids between ssp. albanicus and ssp. balcanicus .
