Description. Ground colour orange brown; crown with two small black spots on anterior margin; pronotum whitish with two orange marks; scutellum yellow; forewing brown or orange with transverse whitish vittae and yellow veins.
Head: weakly produced in dorsal view, slightly wider than pronotum; crown flat, with median length less than interocular width; coronal suture extended to near apex of crown; eyes large, distance between base of eyes larger than eye width; ocelli present; lorum present.
Legs: Front femur AM1 seta enlarged; intercalary row with numerous fine setae similar in length. Hind femur with macrosetal formula 2+1+1. Hind tibial row AV with 6 macrosetae.
Forewing ( Fig. 1 View FIGURE 1 A) with apex rounded, appendix not extending around wing apex, inner apical cell much broader at base than at apex; second apical cell parallel-sided; third apical cell small, triangular, petiolate, outer apical cell with length greatly exceeding width, not attaining apical wing margin.
Hindwing ( Fig. 1 View FIGURE 1 B) submarginal vein confluent with apical wing margin to apex of vein MA; vein RP occurring as short spur.
Male: Second sternal apodemes (2S) short. Pygofer with posterior margin produced, disc with vertical row of few macrosetae, with dorsal and ventral processes. Ninth tergite distinct, transverse, delimited laterally by membranous cleft. Subgenital plate, in lateral view, with an oblique submarginal row of few macrosetae on basal two-thirds and row of moderately long, slender microsetae on dorsal margin; apex with few short, stout setae. Style short, with preapical lobe, apex falcate. Connective membranous. Aedeagus with preatrium elongate; dorsal apodeme bilobed; with or without paired or unpaired ventral atrial processes; gonopore apical.
