TYPE LOCALITY: Unknown; possibly Minas Gerais, Brazil .

DISTRIBUTION: Brazil.

COMMENT: Couto, 1950, Mem. Paleontol. Bras., p. 232, considered flavidens synonymous with spixii , but see Cabrera, 1961:573, who considered both to be distinct species and discussed type locality.
