Description – Adultmale; colorinalcohollightbrown, headandthoraxdarkbrown. Lengthfromtipofheadtoapexoffoldedforewings 8 mm; lengthofmaxillarypalps 1.70 mm, 3rdsegmentlongerthan 2nd, lengthof 5thsegmentalmostequalto 3rdsegment; labialpalps 0.70 mm. Forewinglength 6.75 mm; discoidalcelllengthmorethandoubleits width; Rscurved, thickened; crossvein m proximaltocrossveins s and r-m; 2Aloopedto 1A. Hind wing 5 mm long.

Malegenitalia (Figs 1–5) – TergumIXshort, widedorsally, producedanterodorsally; anteroventralmarginroundlyproduced, posterolateralmarginsinuouslyproduced; pos- teroventralprocessabsent. Preanalappendagesshort, rounded, setose, obliquelyplaced inlateralview. InferiorappendageslongerthantergumX, bearingtuftoflongsetaein lateralview; directedposterodorsally, widebasalandventralmarginsnarrowingtowards pointedapexinlateralview; inventralviewuniformlywide, mesallywith 2 pointed, teeth- likestructurespreapically. TergumXwithsclerotizedlaterallobesandseparateprojecting membranousmesallobes; eachlaterallobelong, narrowatbase, widemedially, produced ventrallyinlateralview; indorsalview, resemblingsnakeheadlike, bearingnumerous sensilla; eachmesallobedirectedposterodorsally, digitate, smallthanlaterallobe, about halfthelengthoflaterallobe. Phallobaseglobular, sclerotized; endotheca, tubular, long, bearinggranularareapreapically, lengthnotdiscernable; with 5 asymmetricalpreapical spinesvisibleinlateralview; phallotremalscleritecomplexcomposedofringandrod structures, forkedprong-likeinventralview.

Diagnosis – Intheshapeofsclerotizedlaterallobesindorsalviewand thephallusinlateralview Chimarradentata sp. n. issimilarto C. haimuoi Ma- licky, 1995. However, inlateralviewthesegmentIXisslightlyproducedon posterolateralmargin, sclerotizedlaterallobeoftergumXwideapicallyin lateralviewandtheinferiorappendagewith 2 sharpdentlikestructureson mesalsurfaceapicallyin C. dentata setsthisspeciesasidefrom C. haimuoi .

Material – Holotypemale, India: Sikkim, Chungthang , 1800 m, 15-ix-2009, Pandher &

Parey (NPC). Paratype: 1 female, collectiondatasameasofholotype.

Distribution – India: Sikkim.

Etymology – Thisspeciesisnamedonthebasisofpresenceoftwosharpdentsonthe

mesalsurfaceofeachinferiorappendage.
