Ablepharus alaicus ELPATJEVSKY (1901: 38)

Paralectotype: ZISP 9427, “Pamir, foothills of Alay”. Leg.: M. Voskoboynikov, 1898. Received from ZMMU. Present name: Asymblepharus alaicus alaicus ( Elpatjevsky, 1901) fide Sindaco & Eremchenko (2008).

Remarks: This specimen could not be located in the ZISP collections in January 2017. The lectotype (designated by Eremchenko 1983) is ZMMU Re-2248 from “Pamir”. Other paralectotypes with the same locality data are ZMMU Re-2250 , ZMMU Re-2253 and ZMMU Re-2254 ( Borissenko et al. 2001). This is a type species of the genus Asymblepharus Eremchenko et Szczerbak, 1980 by original designation.
