This rarely seen eucnemid was previously recorded in California, Oregon, Washington ( Muona 2000) and taken for the first time in Utah. One specimen was taken from a Malaise trap. UTAH: Tooele County: Oquirrh Mountains , Middle Canyon , 12 July 2013, S.M. Clark ( GERP) ; Utah County: Mount Timpanogos, American Fork Canyon , Hwy 92, 22–31 July 2003, G. Stucki and A. Olsen ( BYUC) .
