Dromaeolus teres (Horn, 1886)

This rarely encountered eucnemid species has been recorded from the Cayman Islands. In the United States, D. teres have been found in Florida, Louisiana, Texas ( Muona, 2000), and taken for the first time in Georgia. Specimens were taken from a UV trap and a Lindgren funnel trap. GEORGIA: Chatham County: Skidaway Island St. Pk., 9 June 2013, E. Riley (TAMU), 3.3 km ESE Savannah, 14–28 May 2015, 28 May–11 June 2015, S. Davis (CMNH).
