Occurs widely in tropical areas of the Americas, Asia and the Pacific, scattered distribution in Africa; broadly polyphagous, being recorded on plants belonging to 13 families; a pest of Citrus. Recorded from Saint Lucia by Morrison (1939) and Malumphy (2012).
