Distribution in Israel: two records from Jerusalem and surroundings ( Figure 4 A).

Global distribution: the species is known only from Israel.

Taxonomic and nomenclatural notes. The species-level taxonomy of the genus Thracophilus Verhoeff, 1926 is in need of revision.
