Material. 1 specimen (1 V).

Description. Medium-sized very elongated (amplete?) and quadrilobate carapace. Overlap of the valve unknown. Hmax at 1/3 anterior (?); Lmax at 1/3 dorsal; Wmax antero-dorsal (?). Straight hinge line and dorsal margin. Posterior cardinal angle of about 100°. Anterior cardinal not observed. Ventral margin slightly concave in its middle part and convex at its extremities. Well rounded, regularly convex posterior margin. Anterior margin not observed. Lobes are vertical, with the three anterior ones ventrally connected while the most posterior one is distinct. Surface finely reticulated. Spine in the postero-ventral part.

Discussion. This incomplete specimen resembles the posterior part of a right valve of N. hamata Becker, 1968 .

Occurrence. Middle Givetian (Candás Fm, mb C), Asturias (Peran-Perlora section).
