Material. 1 specimen (1 C).

Description. Medium-sized elongated amplete carapace, symmetrical in lateral view. Overlap not observed. Hmax median; Lmax median; Wmax slightly dorsal. Straight hinge line and dorsal margin. Anterior cardinal angle of about 135°. Posterior cardinal angle of about 130°. Well rounded free margins, with anterior and posterior margins more arched than the ventral one. Anterior and posterior parts of the carapace symmetrical in lateral view. Posterior part of the carapace flattened. Three indistinct lobes, one at mid-length projecting over the dorsal margin, one in the posterior part and one in the anterior part of the carapace. Surface smooth.

Discussion. This specimen is too badly preserved to be identified with certainty, even to generic level. However, the general outline of the carapace and the indistinct apparent lobes suggest it belongs to N. faceta Rozhdestvenskaja, 1972 .

Occurrence. Middle Givetian (Candás Fm, mb C), Asturias (Peran-Perlora section).
