Type species: Agraecina lineata ( Simon, 1878)
Diagnosis. Agraecina differs from the closely related genus Agroeca by its smaller size, by the presence of two pairs of ventral spines on metatarsi I and II and by the simpler genitalic structure: a male palp with a simple slender embolus and a hook-shaped, elongated median apophysis, and a weakly sclerotised epigyne with an ill-defined median septum, as well as small spermathecae 1 and 2, connected to each end of a wide, longitudinally oriented insemination duct. Agraecina differs from Liocranoeca Wunderlich, 1999 by the presence of an elongated median apophysis in the male palp and by the presence of a median septum and the absence of a median anterior hood in the epigyne.
