Male palp as illustrated ( Fig. 1 A, B View FIGURE 1 A – E ), with some stronger do setae and a weak rl groove on cymbium, a slender embolus and a long, thin, hook-shaped MA.
Female (MNHN25). Total length 3.42. Carapace length 1.18, w 0.97, unicolorous pale yellow, fovea brown, pronounced, length 0.21, anterior end 0.79 from front end of carapace. MOQ depth 0.14, anterior w 0.11, posterior w 0.18. AER w 0.26, PER w 0.32. AME as in male. Clypeus equal to diameter of AME. Chelicerae as in male. Sternum pale yellow, length 0.74, w 0.66. Abdomen pale yellowish brown. No rh. Leg length I 3.37 II 3.16 III 3.13 IV 4.29. Leg spination ( Fig. 2 C View FIGURE 2 A – K ) fe: I pl 0-0-1 do 1-1-0 plv 0-1-1; II do 1-1-0; III do 1-1-1; IV do 1-1-2; ti: I plv 1-1-1-1-1 rlv 1-1-1-1-1; II plv 1-1-1-1-1 rlv 1-1-1-1-1; III pl 0-1-1 do 0-0-1 rl 1-0-1 plv 0-1-1 rlv 0-0-1; IV pl 0-1-1 do 1-0-1 rl 0-1-1 plv 1-1-1 rlv 0-0-1; mt: I plv 1-1-1 rlv 1-1-1; II plv 1- 1-1 rlv 1-1-1; III pl 0-1-1 rl 0-1-1 plv 1-0-1 rlv 1-0-0; IV pl 1-0-1 rl 1-1-1 plv 1-0-0 rlv 1-0-0 vts 1. Paired ve spines on ti and mt I and II strong in both sexes, as typical for the genus.
Epigyne ( Fig. 1 C View FIGURE 1 A – E ) weakly sclerotised, with a narrow median septum, tapering towards posterior end. A darker, elliptic depression is present on each side of the median septum. Vulva ( Fig. 1 E View FIGURE 1 A – E ) with anterior CO and two oval ST with the long axis oriented longitudinally. Interior side of ST1 has a thickened wall with tubular structures, presumably a gland.
Distribution. Platnick (2009) mentions only France, but the species has been reported from the Iberian Peninsula as well ( Cardoso 2000; Morano 2004).
