Holotype ♀, Côte d’Ivoire, Le Parc National du Banco ( MNHN). Holotype by original designation and by monotypy.

Labels. Muséum Paris/ Côte d’Ivoire / Réserve du Banco/ R. Paulian & C. Delamare; de nuit/ au sol; Leptacis ♀/ terricola n. sp. / L. Masner det., 1959; holotypus [holotype ♀].

Remarks. The holotype is card-pointed, with the right antenna mounted on a microslide on the same pin.
