Tumeochrysa tibetana Yang, 1987: 210 View in CoL . Type locality: China (Xizang, Zham ). Holotype in CAU.
Diagnosis. This species is characterized by the presence of the vertex with reddish triangular markings, the scape with tubercle on the outer side, and the extremely long projections on median arch of male gonarcus.
Description. Male. Body length 14.7–15.9 mm, forewing length 22.2–23.5 mm, hindwing length 19.3–20.5 mm.
Head broad, vertex with reddish triangular markings. Compound eyes prominent and black. Antennae yellow, scape wide, with tubercle on outer side. Frons, clypeus and gena without spots. Maxillary and labial palpi brownish yellow.

Legs with dense setae and without spots. Pretarsal claws brown, with basal dilation.
Forewing long and narrow, without shadings. Pterostigma indistinct. Costal area with 33–38 crossveins; 22–24 radial crossveins present. m1 smaller than m2; im quadrate or triangular; 16–17 crossveins present between Psm and Psc. c1 smaller than c2, dcc closed. A1 forked, A2 and A3 simple. Gradates in four divergent rows, basal crossvein of inner gradate series not meeting Psm.
Hindwing long and narrow, without shadings. Pterostigma indistinct. Costal area with 26–29 crossveins; 20–22 radial crossveins and 15–16 psm-psc crossveins present. Gradates in four divergent rows, basal crossvein of inner gradate series not meeting Psm.
Abdomen with dense setae. Tergum VII and sternum VII subquadrate in lateral view; tergum VIII and sternum VIII shorter than tergum VII; sternum IX elongated; tergum IX fused with ectoproct. Callus cerci ovoid. Gonarcus arcuate, median arch with extremely long projections, lateral arms expanded; entoprocessus broad; arcessus widest at base.
Material. Holotype ♂, China, China, Xizang, Shigatse, Nyalam, Zham , 1981.VIII.12, Shengchang Hu ( CAU) . Paratypes: 4♂, same as holotype ( CAU) .
Distribution. China (Xizang).
Remarks. This species is similar to T. sinica in external morphological characters, but the projections on median arch of male gonarcus of this species are obviously longer than that of the latter species.
