Bisaltes subreticulatus Aurivillius, 1920: 21 View in CoL .

Remarks. This species was described based on a single specimen from Brazil (Rio Grande do Sul).

Currently it is known from Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia (Santa Cruz), Brazil (São Paulo, Santa Catarina, Rio Grande do Sul) and Argentina (Tucumán) (Bezark 2022; Monné 2022; Tavakilian & Chevillotte 2021). This geographical distribution suggests that B. (B.) subreticulatus has been confused with B. (B.) spegazzinii .
