Description: —Creeping epiphyte. Leaves petiolate; petiole 1–2 cm long; leaf blade lanceolate to narrowly elliptic, (5)7–16(18) cm long, ca. (0.8)1–1.5(1.8) cm wide, glabrous on both sides. Peduncle densely white tomentose, (1.6)1.8–2.6(3) cm long; normally 1-flowered, rarely 2-flowered; floral bracts very small, triangular; pedicel and ovary densely white tomentose, (5)6–7(8) mm long. Flowers widely opening, sepals and petals white, lip white with purple side-lobes and yellow epichile. Sepal s subsimilar, narrowly ovate to ovate, (1.4)1.5–1.7(1.8) cm long, 7–8 mm wide, obtuse to acute, densely white tomentose outside, glabrous inside. Petals glabrous, oblong, (1.4)1.5–1.6(1.7) cm long, 4–5 mm wide, slightly oblique, obtuse. Lip ca. 1.5–1.6 cm long, 3-lobed; median lobe ovate, 6–7 mm long, 4–5 mm wide, obtuse, with spongy-like swelling margin; side-lobes narrowly ovate, slightly oblique, erect, 0.9–1 cm long, 4–5 mm wide, obtuse to blunt at apex; disc with 3 keels; lateral keels clavate, swollen at the base of side lobes, margin undulate; median keel coming from the lip base to apex of median lobe, inconspicuous. Column ca. 4 mm long, glabrous, column foot 8–9 mm long. Fruit erect, obconoid, hairy, 1.4–1.8 cm long, 5–7 mm in diameter.

Habitat and phenology: —Found in lowland, submontane and montane evergreen, broad-leaved, mixed and coniferous forests on silicate parental rocks at elevations of 600–1800 m a.s.l. Flowers in October–April.

Distribution: — CAMBODIA (Koh Kong Province), VIETNAM (Provinces Dak Lak, Khanh Hoa, Lam Dong, and Ninh Thuan).

Notes: —The record of this species presented here ( Cambodia, Koh Kong Province, Cardamom mt., P. Thomas, a. 2011 LE 01089190 https://en.herbariumle.ru/?t=occ&id=71866) represents new addition to the orchid flora of Cambodia. This discovery expands the known species area in SW direction to more than 500 km. Meanwhile, the location of C. globifera in Cardomom Mountains probably represent isolated area, natural conditions of which is similar to humid Central Highlands strongly influenced by wet summer monsoon winds. In dry lowland forests of the southern part of Indochinese Peninsula, this species was not observed.

Specimens examined: —Studied specimens from Eastern Indochina are listed and available in Herbarium LE database by the link: https://en.herbariumle.ru/?t=occ&s=campanulorchis%20globifera&f=main_identification
