Coloration and structure as in V. rubrostriata View in CoL .

Male genitalia: Pygophore produced caudally into a ribbonlike process, ventral process in contact with it up to distal 0.25 length then divergent, ventral process curved ventrally. Segment X with very small denticles. Subgenital plate caudally rounded. Apophysis of style slender, evenly curved and narrowed distally. Aedeagus less sinuate, shaft elongate, ventro­apical process about 0.33 as long as shaft, its basal 0.3 in close proximity with shaft, dorso­apical ridge more distal than in other species of Va rt a, dorsal apodeme stout.

Female genitalia: Seventh sternum twice as broad as long, medially broadly produced caudally with a median notch.

Measurements: Male 6.1 (5.7–6.4) mm long, 1.3 mm wide across hind margin of head, 1.4 mm wide across hind margin of pronotum. Female 7.4 mm long, 1.5 mm wide across hind margin of head, 1.7 mm wide across hind margin of pronotum.

Remarks: V. rubrovittata resembles V. rubrofasciata but differs in the shape of male pygophore and the aedeagus especially in having much straighter, elongate, aedeagal shaft with longer ventro­apical process and slender apophysis of the style.
