( P) & St Hilaire s.n. ( P). Bahia, towards Igreja Velha , Blanchet 3308 ( BM, G, LE). (Figure 2. C –D)
Distribution: — BOLIVIA: Santa Cruz. Open cerrado in the eastern lowlands; 300–500 m elev. Also known from Brazil, northern Argentina and Paraguay.
Representative specimens examined: — BOLIVIA. Santa Cruz: Ñuflo de Chavez, 30 km S of Concepción on road to Lomerio, 500 m elev., 30 October 1999 (fl), J.R.I. Wood 15097 (K, LPB, USZ).
