Galictis vittata (Schreber) View in CoL

The only definite record of grisons within the limits of our study area is a sighting by P. Petronelli (personal commun., 1993), who observed a pair travelling together on the ground in primary forest in 1990. A large adult male that we found dead on a road near Sinnamary (ca. 12 km NNW of Paracou) in 1992 measured 553 Χ 155 Χ 92 Χ 32 mm and weighed 3.8 kg.
