Current status. Afromorgus fenestrellus ( Balthasar, 1939) View in CoL , see PITTINO (2006). On the other hand, SCHOLTZ (1979) regarded it as a junior subjective synonym of Afromorgus melancholicus (Fåhraeus, 1857) View in CoL .

Remark. The species was described according to a holotype specimen from the collection of V. Balthasar ( BALTHASAR 1939). However, there is no mention of this species in the Balthasar’s collection, and we were not able to trace the type specimen in NMPC.
