Two syntypes are deposited in NMPC (ex coll. V. Balthasar):

SYNTYPE (unsexed specimen): ‘Nikolsk Ussurijsk / Ussurigeb. Mandl [p] // Typus [p, red label, black margin] // Trox ussuriensis m. [hw] / Det. Dr. Balthasar [p] / Typus! [hw] // Trox ussuriensis Blth. / valid sp. / Det. Pittino 1985 [hw]’.

SYNTYPE (unsexed specimen): ‘Nikolsk Ussurijsk / Ussurigeb. Mandl [p] // Typus [p, red label, black margin] // Trox ussuriensis m. [hw] / Det. Dr. Balthasar [p] / Typus! [hw]’.

Current status. Valid species.

Remark. KRÁL & MOCEK (1998) recorded an additional cotype in the Museum of Eastern Bohemia in Hradec Králové, Czech Republic. Nevertheless, the locality data of this specimen do not fully agree with the original description. Most probably it represents a specimen compared with type(s) rather than a true syntype.
