Range: —Andean foothills from Venezuela to Bolivia (BE, CO, LP).

Ecology: —Fairly common; saxicolous, epiphytic, and on rotting logs in humid forests; to 1100 m.

Notes: —This species has a distinctive, compact, creeping habit with short lateral branches. Somewhat variable in the length of the median leaf tips and the denticulations of the leaf margins.
