Rostrozetes (Rostrozetella)
status

subgen. nov.

Rostrozetella subgen. n.

Diagnosis: Dorsosejugal suture peculiarly arched forwards, the whole median part penetrating into the interbothridial region. Fourteen pairs of notogastral setae present.

Type species: Rostrozetes (Rostrozetes) decorus sp. n.

Remarks: I accept the opinion of SUBIAS (2004) that Trachyoribates BER- LESE, 1908 and Rostrozetes SELLNICK, 1925 are separate taxa. The new subgenus is distinguishable from the nominate subgenus by the above mentioned features.
