T y p e m a t e r i a l: Holotype: ♁. Type locality: French Guiana, Amazone Nature Lodge , 30 km SE Roura on Kaw Rd. 5-19-II-2010, J. E. Eger, coll., 300 m., N0 4°33.570' W 0 52°12.433' ( FSCA) Paratypes: 3 specimens. BRAZIL: Estado do Pará ; Bragance, M. de Mathan ( MNHN, 2; WOPC, 1) .
D i a g n o s i s: Black; each elytron with 3 yellow fasciae.
D e s c r i p t i o n: Size: Length 5.0 mm; width 1.0 mm. Form: As in Fig. 25 View Figs 25-28 . Head: (EW/FW 20/40). Thorax: Pronotal and elytral discs finely punctate; (PL/PW 90/90); (EL/EW 230/50). Abdomen: Aedeagus lost.
E t y m o l o g y: The species name, guiana, constitutes a noun in apposition and refers to the type locality.
