T y p e m a t e r i a l: Holotype: ♀. Type locality: Colombia, Meta, PNN Tinigua, Caño Nevera, 2°11'N 73°40'W, 390 m, Malaise 1, 20-23.XII.2001, D. Campos Leg. M. 2621 ( WOPC). GoogleMaps
D i a g n o s i s: Integument mostly black; capitulum testaceous; cranium and pronotal arch densely setose; elytron with basal oval blister and with three maculae, posterior macula trigonal.
D e s c r i p t i o n: Size: Length 6.0 mm; width 1.0 mm. Form: As in Fig. 38 View Figs 37-40 . Head: Antenna slightly shorter than width across eyes, capitulum slightly compacted; (EW/FW 20/60). Thorax: Elytral base with distinct bulla; pronotal and elytral discs finely punctate;
(PL/PW 100/100); (EL/EW 250/60). Abdomen: Female pygidium scutiform.
E t y m o l o g y: The species name, meta, constitutes a noun in apposition and refers to the type locality.
