T y p e m a t e r i a l: Holotype: ♁. Type locality: Argentina, La Rioja, Alpasinche, S. Blas Sauces, 25-XI-2003, C. Porter ( WOPC).
D i a g n o s i s: Capitulum testaceous; elytra mostly black, each elytron with testaceous basal punctiform marking and with testaceous lunulate fasciae.
D e s c r i p t i o n: Size: Length 7.0 mm; width 1.0 mm. Form: As in Fig. 31 View Figs 29-32 . Head: (EW/FW 20/50). Thorax: Pronotal and elytral discs slightly roughened punctate; (PL/PW 105/105); (EL/EW 260/60). Abdomen: Aedeagus ( Fig. 87 View Figs 83-91 ).
E t y m o l o g y: The species name, larioja, constitutes a noun in apposition and refers to the type locality.
