T y p e m a t e r i a l: Holotype: ♀. Typelocality : Brazil, Distrito Federal, Parque Nacional, 11- III-1970, J. M. & B. A. Campbell ( CNCI).
D i a g n o s i s: Legs and antenna testaceous; body mostly black, highly setose; each elytron with 2 yellow fascia.
D e s c r i p t i o n: Size: Length 6.0 mm; width 1.0 mm. Form: As in Fig. 4 View Figs 1-4 .
Head: Capitulum quadrate; (EW/FW 20/50). Thorax: Elytral disc slightly coarsely punctate; (PL/PW 100/100); (EL/EW 240/80). Abdomen: Female pygidium scutiform.
E t y m o l o g y: The species name, campbelli, honors J. Milton Campbell for his many contributions to Systematic Entomology.
