T y p e m a t e r i a l: Holotype: ♁. Type locality: Bolivia , Dpto. La Paz , Prov , Nor Yungas , Rio Cedro Mayo, nr. Cedro Mayo, 16.231°S, 67.749°W, 30-IV-2005, S. M. Clark ( WOPC) GoogleMaps . Paratype: 1 specimen. PERU: Provincia de Huallaga ; Chambireyacú, prés Yurimaguas (Huallaga -Peru), M. de Mathan, Juin-Aoút 1885 ( MNHN, 1) .
D i a g n o s i s: Elytra mostly black, each elytron with three linear fasciae.
D e s c r i p t i o n: Size: Length 5.0 mm; width 1.0 mm. Form: As in Fig. 9 View Figs 9-12 . Head: (EW/FW 20/50). Thorax: Pronotal and elytral discs finely punctate; (PL/PW 90/90); (EL/EW 190/60). Abdomen: Aedeagus (Fig. 69).
E t y m o l o g y: The species name, cedro, constitutes a noun in apposition and refers to the type locality.
