T y p e m a t e r i a l: Holotype: ♁. Type locality: Brazil , Nova Teutonia (WFBA) , Paratypes: 5 specimens. BRAZIL: Estado do Nova Teutonia ( WFBM, 3; WOPC, 2) .
D i a g n o s i s: Mostly black; antennae testaceous; each elytron with four testaceous markings.
D e s c r i p t i o n: Size: Length 6.0 mm; width 1.0 mm. Form: As in Fig. 42 View Figs 41-44 . Head: (EW/FW 20/45). Thorax: Pronotal and elytral discs minutely punctate; (PL/PW 80/80); (EL/EW 230/55). Abdomen: Aedeagus (Fig. 94).
V a r i a t i o n: Length 5.5-7.0 mm; width 1.0- 1.1 mm.
E t y m o l o g y: The species name, nova, constitutes a noun in apposition and refers to the type locality.
