Distribution: Nearctic and Neotropical ( Bolivia, Brazil, Costa Rica, Mexico, Peru, United States).

Hosts: Omiodes indicata (Fabricius, 1775) ( Lepidoptera : Crambidae ). Ethmia catapeltica Meyrick, 1924 ( Lepidoptera : Ethmiidae ).

Habitat: Coastal dune scrubland.

Phenology: July.

Studied material: MEXICO. Yucatán State, Ría Lagartos Biosphere Reserve, Cuyo Station, Cemetery: 24.VI–08. VII.2009, 1 Ƥ (CER– UADY).
